“We challenged each other, made each other uncomfortable from time to time, allowed our vulnerabilities to show and ultimately accepted and embraced the differences.”
Words. What great words to hear from a client who was satisfied with our work. Sometimes, in cases like this, finding the right words to tell our clients’ stories means we have to dig deep, very deep.
Our lead writer, Leanne, is also published ghost writer and blogger on topics such as workplace mental health, financial planning, insurance, golf and food. When we let her out to play, she writes about being a mom, overcoming her fear of bears and other wild things at our remote, unplugged camp in Northwestern Ontario, as well as her many passions at home.
Her recent adventures have included trailing her beloved great blue heron along the shores of the Winnipeg River, cutting loose for a five-hour adventure while lost on Lake of the Woods and embarking on a journey into fiction based on true stories of life, love and loss along the shores of a great river. Leanne studies with writer Jake MacDonald and her beloved From the Ground Up writing group.
She has vowed to find more time to feed her appetite for writing, learning, mentoring and living simply in 2012. Watch for her updates on these and other morsels as the year unfolds.
Leanne writes and edits for a number of external and internal client newsletters and websites and we’ve featured some of this work in our projects pages. She’s written and consulted extensively for the Workplace Strategies for Mental Health website having been involved with this initiative since it’s inception. She also contributes to Moods Magazine.
